A Case of Pulsating Exophthalmos



Abstract
A case of post=traumatic pulsating exophthalmos is reported. A man, 23 years old, received trauma on left eye during Tae Kuon Do, without apparent external wound, about one years ago. After 4 month, he recruited in the Army, during education left eye ball prominated slowly and there was evidence of tinitis at left Ear and he had a headache.
Left Caroted Angiograpy revealed Carotid Cavernous fistura and bony destruction was founded at the Sphenoid ridgy of left Orbit. Visual acuity, Exophthalmometric, and Tonometric examination revealed 1, O(OD). a, 4(OS)., 13mm(OD). 20mm(OS)., and 17, 3mmHg(OD). 24, 4mml-lg(OS). The treatment of this case are legations of left Caroted Artery. 5days post=operation., Exophthalmometric examination was 12mm(OD). 13mm(OS).
